WHAT IS HAIR RESTORATION?
Men’s hair restoration & women’s hair restoration consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets, a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body. Platelets are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. It is simply blood that contains more platelets than normal. Hair restoration can be effective in treating male pattern baldness, both in preventing hair loss and promoting new hair growth. Hair restoration can also aid in the stimulation of hair growth after hair transplants. Multiple treatments are recommended and are needed to maintain hair growth.
Non-Surgical hair restoration is for those who are looking to restore hair without surgery or major downtime. It is ideal for someone who is experiencing hair loss or hair thinning.
Hair Restoration:
Step One | During your hair restoration consultation we will ask a few questions and analyze the area you want treated to determine if it is the right solution for you and your goals. We will also discuss a treatment plan along with a maintenance program.
Step Two | Blood is drawn by our team in-office and put into a medical-grade centrifuge to separate the platelets for injection. The amount of blood drawn is determined by the treatment area.
Step Three | Your provider then takes a syringe to withdraw the hair restoration for injection.
Step Four | Using a pre-determined syringe applicator, your provider then injects the treatment area precisely and strategically to stimulate new hair growth where needed.
After your treatment, your provider will discuss do’s and do not’s as well as set you up with an at-home regimen to help boost your results. Usually a patient will come in for 3 to 4 treatments and then maintenance treatments as needed.
